Don't say "108" to "Siri" this is what US Police requesting its citizens as a viral social media campaign encouraging iPhoneusers to say the number 108 to Siri as a “prank” but it could get users to unknowingly call 911.
911 is an emergency code that Apple puts into their phones that if you say the 108 code to Siri, it automatically calls 911.
108 is the international number for 911 so when an iPhone user says 108 to Siri he/she automatically gets connected to 911 within five seconds.
As per police, the scam is spreading across Facebook and Twitter like wildfire, and when iPhone users test out the Siricommand for fun and they end up calling emergency Police call centers.
